MILFORD, CT — A 23-year-old woman is accused of leaving her child inside a car unattended, police said. On Aug. 24, police responded to the parking lot of Panera Bread, 1627 Boston Post Road, on the report of a baby left unattended in a car, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Katie Ayala, 23, of Fitchville Road in Bozrah, who is accused of leaving her 2-year-old child in her vehicle unattended for approximately 7 minutes, police said. She is charged with leaving a child under 12 unsupervised and was given a court date of Sept. 20.
