Abingdon Man Is Missing After Leaving Hospital: Sheriff

ABINGDON, MD — After an Abingdon man did not return a week ago from a hospital in Towson, officials are asking for help finding him. Kevin Coates, 59, was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. When he disappeared, he was wearing a Ravens shirt and sweatpants. Authorities said he was leaving Sheppard Pratt in Towson and was expected to return home on Harrogate Way in Abingdon but never arrived. He is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 217 pounds with black hair and black eyes and may be driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue with Maryland plates 5CR8146. Have you seen Kevin Coates or his vehicle?
