STEVENSVILLE, MD — An Annapolis brewery will host a beer tasting event this Saturday with a Navy SEAL from the Osama bin Laden raid. The veteran, Robert O'Neill, claims he fired the shot that killed the al-Qaeda leader.
Armed Forces Brewing Company will host the tasting. It will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 278 in Stevensville. Registration for the free 21+ event is available at this link.
The brewery is known for its support and employment of veterans. It has three brands, each dedicated to different military branches. Those are divisions are Seawolf Brewery, Soldier Brewery and Airmen Brewery.
O'Neill invested in the business last summer and bought partial ownership. The former SEAL Team 6 operator is now the company's national brand ambassador and director of military relations.
"I'm truly looking forward to meeting each and every one of you," CEO Alan Beal said in a newsletter. "Remember - America Deserves Great Beer. And you should be proud like I am to employ our incredible Veterans."
More information about the business is available at armedforcesbrewingco.com.
