MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Music festivals, Summerfest and an opportunity to glass blow. There's plenty to do around Morris County this weekend. If you're ready to leave home, here are five things you can do this weekend: Giralda Music & Arts Festival Enjoy a performance by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra while relaxing on the lush grounds of the Giralda Farms Corporate Park. The event will include children's activities and an art show and sale. Morris Arts' traditional creative picnic contest will return with prizes awarded to the most inventive picnics that day. Festivities will feature classic rock, folk, Motown and country. Shows will take place on Perry, Grove and Main Streets. Click here for more info. Summerfest at Ort Farms Join Ort Farms for live music, food trucks, craft vendors, the sunflower trail, a beer garden and kid's acivities. The festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The farm will have more than 30 craft vendors, local food trucks and Czigmesiter beer. Morris County School of Glass Summer Open House Join in for a free summer open house. Watch live glassblowing demonstrations and try your hands at making your own class creation.
