Press release from the City of Sioux Falls: August 25, 2021 Beginning on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer in various locations along South Glendale Avenue, South Prairie Avenue, South Summit Avenue, and South Norton Avenue between West 36th Street and West 39th Street. There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions and road closures as the work progresses through this area. In addition, there will be work along West 37th Street at South Glendale Avenue and at South Prairie Avenue. Traffic will be detoured to West 39th Street at these locations while the work is in progress. Weather permitting, the repairs are anticipated to be complete within one week. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
