Hiring shovel crews, employees, and snow plow drivers. Accepting all applications, preference given to established and experienced crews. Both employee and contractor positions available. Subcontracting available for both residential and commercial sites. Pay is always within 1 week off the storm, and as early as end of shift. Pay is based on experience, vehicle, and insurance status, shovel pay starts at $20 to $35/hr with the opportunity for a raise after successfully completing 3 storms. Plow driver (our equipment) pay starts $30 to $35 per hour based on experience, same 3 storm policy for a raise. Job Requirements: -Reliable transportation -Reliable Cell Phone -Positive attitude and strong work ethic -Cold weather clothing/boots -Able to lift 50 lbs **Must be reliable and available to work early mornings. Notice for possible work is given 2 to 3 days in advance, based on weather forecast. General call out time is between 2:00 and 3:00 am for shifts of 6 12 hours, or more (if you’re game for that kind of thing). Snow is unpredictable, it’s our job to be ready. Ability and willingness to work long hours a plus.** We are a team-based snow removal company, providing the highest level of service to our clients. We have high standards and enjoy what we do. Working hard and having fun, most crews return year after year, and we promote from within. All our current machine operators and plow drivers started as shovelers.
