SANTA MONICA, CA — Fourteen Santa Monica businesses are among the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., according to a new list released by Inc.com. The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country's fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine. Honorees must apply to be selected. In total, this year's honorees brought in $248 billion in revenue and added more than 2.5 million jobs to the U.S. economy. The fastest-growing company in Santa Monica is Songtradr, which provides music creators and rights owners a music-licensing marketplace. In all, the company grew more than 9,215% in the past year.
