SANTA MONICA, CA — A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway prompted a SigAlert in Santa Monica Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol reports.
A SigAlert was issued about 10 a.m. near the Lincoln Boulevard, CHP reports. At least one lane remains blocked, causing delays for drivers in the area. The SigAlert is expected to be in effect through 10:45 a.m.
The crash happened about 9:07 a.m. Wednesday when a driver lost their tire, then the tire hit another car, causing it to crash into another vehicle, CHP reports. It's unclear if anyone was injured.
