Press release from the City of Santa Cruz: 08/25/2021 7:39 PM CITY OF SANTA CRUZ NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City Council of the City of Santa Cruz will hold a public hearing on the following date(s): 1st Meeting: August 31, 2021, 4:30 p.m. Zoom Meeting ID: 946 8440 1344 2nd Meeting: September 18, 2021 3rd & 4th Meeting: TBD The purpose of the public hearings is to receive public input on and provide input regarding the composition of potential Council election district boundaries. Following the initial August 31, 2021 and September 18, 2021 public hearings, draft maps of potential Council election district boundaries will be published for consideration at future hearings anticipated for January and February of 2022. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing(s) and express opinions or submit information.
