Evansville Police have arrested a woman accused in a fatal hit-and-run.
The EPD says officers arrested 25-year-old Kelsey Ritter.
In a release, police said Ritter is suspected of hitting 63-year-old John Knight with her vehicle in the 1000 block of N. Fulton Ave. in the early morning hours of August 8th.
An ambulance took Knight to a hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Knight fled the scene.
Police say investigators determined Ritter was the suspect and a felony warrant was issued last Friday.
The EPD says officers found Ritter and took her into custody without incident Monday evening.
Ritter was booked into the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center and charged with Hit and Run Causing Death.
