REDONDO BEACH, CA — Seven businesses — two from Redondo Beach and five from Torrance — are among the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., according to a new list released by Inc.com. The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country's fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine. Honorees must apply to be selected. In total, this year's honorees brought in $248 billion in revenue and added more than 2.5 million jobs to the U.S. economy. The fastest-growing company in the South Bay area is Energy Service Partners, a California-based solar electric systems installer with nearly 40 years of experience in luxury energy-efficient home construction.In all, the company grew more than 959% in the past year.
