Man In Red Sweatshirt Sought For Firing Gun In Burbank: Police

BURBANK, IL — Burbank police said at least one shot was fired Tuesday afternoon near 80th Street and Austin Avenue Around 5 p.m. a resident called 911 to report that they had seen a man lifting the front of his red hooded sweatshirt and pulling out a black handgun. The man proceeded to file one round and had already left the area by the time officers arrived. Police said the man lives in the neighborhood. Two other people are believed to have been with the man when the shot was fired. One male companion was wearing a black T-shirt, and the other wore a blue T-shirt. Anyone with information or who picked up something on their home security camera is asked to call the Burbank Police Department Investigative Division at 708-924-7300.
