Description

PALO VERDE, CA — A big rig overturned on Highway 78, killing several of the animals inside, although the driver was not injured. The single vehicle collision was reported at 6:03 a.m. on Highway 78 near 35th Avenue north of Palo Verde, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. Highway 78 was closed in both directions near Palo Verde and California Highway Patrol were currently on scene. Animal control was requested, according to officials.
