LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville High School's Friday night football game against Carmel Catholic School in Mundelein has been cancelled due to concerns over COVID-19. The cancellation of the Week 1 game comes amid positive cases being reported at Carmel, according to the Daily Herald. Libertyville is now looking for a new team to play Friday. Due to the unfortunate circumstances with our scheduled Friday night game, we are looking for a Week 1 game. Please DM @Go_LHS_Wildcats or email [email protected] if interested.
