Assistant woodworker and shop hand needed for our woodworking studio producing high-end fine furniture. Duties: -General woodworking including picking, rough cutting and milling, all types of sanding, assistance with joinery and finishing, and deliveries -General shop maintenance including cleaning, inventory and organization Skills: -Some woodworking/carpentry experience including ability to accurately use a tape measure, and knowledge of basic hand tools and machines common to a wood shop -Stamina, common sense, desire to learn, and ability to take direction and critique to refine skills -Ability to lift 50lbs Hours and pay: -Flexible hours -Approximately 25-35 hours/week depending on shop workload -$18/hr If interested please send *ALL* of the following for consideration: -Background and work history, including specifics of any woodworking experience -2+ references from recent employers -Approximate weekly availability to work -Availability times for interview We look forward to hearing from you!
