Description
Hello,
I'm a bass player looking to put together a portable busking band. Originals as well as covers that people love. This way, we can make some money playing music while putting together a video/audio reel to send out to bars and other paying venues.
I got the idea when I couldn't find a place to rehearse. So, I started looking into battery powered speakers and amps. I bought a Bose S1 pro and brought a buddy of mine to go busking at Hampton Beach. We were on the channel 5 news playing music on our first day out haha. Really not a big deal, but I have the link to the news feed if you're interested. We made about 200 dollars a day. Thats because my buddy was exceptionally talented. I'm hoping to find someone just as good.
If I can put together a full (talented) band, I'll get a second Bose S1, a battery powered mixer, and a battery powered electronic drum kit. That will be enough volume and inputs for up to a five piece band to go play anywhere we want! We can play at the beach, the subway in Boston, or anywhere there's a crowd of possible investors.
I also have a canon rebel camera that I make music videos with, Pro tools 10 audio studio, and Studio One DAW system for professional audio recordings.
Looking to play every weekend and a day or two during the week if possible.
I'm also looking into getting a Tascam field recorder so we can capture excellent live sound. (The audience as well as a direct input via mixing board).
I only have a bass guitar and one speaker with two inputs at the moment. Not the mixing board, drum kit, or field recorder. That's a ton of work for one person and there's no point in dropping that kinda money into something if I cant find a dedicated enough band to invest in.
Shoot a text if interested:
