Mosquito Control Technician Mosquito Control is a wonderful alternative to retail, or food service, health, and hospitality, especially for anyone who loves independent work and/or working outdoors! Mosquito Authority seeks motivated and reliable individuals with a passion for learning to fill our Mosquito Specialist role. The position is full-time and seasonal through the end of mosquito season (typically December) with options to continue on year-round for the right candidates. Requirements needed for consideration of employment: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Punctual and dependable Professional attitude, behavior, and attire (company-provided uniform) Strong customer service skills Willingness to learn and help others Ability to carry 50-60 lb backpack throughout the day Main responsibilities of the role: Visually inspect customer yards and complete treatment for mosquitoes and ticks. Develop strong customer relationships. Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized service vehicles. Walk throughout customer properties while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs for long periods of time in warm temperatures. Navigate daily routes using GPS.
