Instrument Operator - Experienced Techs supports all survey field work. Operates and maintains state-of-the-art equipment. Must be willing to work OUTSIDE for extended periods of time and communicate well to all party members. Will assist Party Chief and learn descriptions, coding and techniques for data collection. Heavy TxDOT, water management and construction preferred. HS diploma and 2-5 yrs exp. required. Field Crew Chief – This position supervises and directs the operations of the survey field party in the execution of a wide range of surveying and mapping assignments. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear and accurate field notes is required. Strong technical understanding of survey field equipment and data collection processes is required. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, a must. Past experience on TxDOT assignments, water management, or heavy construction highly preferred. High school diploma and 3 to 8 years of progressive survey field experience required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Travel required.
