The LMC is here to offer the music lessons you want! We are qualified and eager to help you with any musical education or service you are looking for. Our instructors all hold advanced degrees in music, have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, and are extremely active as performers both locally and abroad. All lessons and programs at The Lakewood Music Collective focus on technical skills, performance, practice, general musical knowledge/theory, programmatic and historical elements, repertoire – and of course HAVING FUN WITH MUSIC! We offer lessons to anyone 5 years old and up, developing personalized lesson plans for each student. Beginners are more than welcome, as are advanced players who need to brush up on a few things. We offer lessons in: IN-PERSON or ONLINE Guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo Piano Drums & percussion Singing in ALL styles Violin, viola, cello, double bass ALL Woodwinds ALL Brass Music theory & aural skills Musicology Availability offered 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday, and 10am-3pm Saturday. Meet with your instructor In-Person or Online! Flexible lesson times and scheduling! We offer student rock bands, jazz bands, blues bands, bluegrass bands, coffeeshop groups, and chamber music sessions led by seasoned coaches – providing an outlet to execute and further develop skills. Regular concerts and recitals are offered throughout the year at various venues, and we supply live music for all occasions with both student and instructor groups. Our lesson studios are comfortable, spacious, soundproof, and are stocked with high quality and well-maintained equipment (pianos, drum sets, amplifiers, etc). Our retail sales include the books and accessories needed for the lessons. We also buy and sell used instruments, and have top-notch on premises guitar repair as an added convenience.
