Growing Fabric Wholesaler and Retail Store in Downtown Los Angeles' Fashion District is looking to add to their floor team of Retail and Warehouse Fulfillment Associates. Role Responsibilities: • Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse. • Cutting rolls of fabric both by hand and on a machine. • Assisting customers with in-store purchases by lifting rolls and cutting fabric. • Reading, understanding and correctly fulfilling work orders. • Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas. • Confirming merchandise information matches that of the work order. • Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, or irregularities. • Packing the merchandise for delivery. • Transporting the packed items to delivery trucks. • Finalizing work orders and communicating with the administrative team to prepare orders for shipping. Role Requirements: • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50-60 pounds each) repeatedly throughout the day. • Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment. • Must be able to read and interpret written work orders. • Must have a strong attention to detail. • Must be polite and courteous when interacting with coworkers and store customers. Ability to understand and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
