Looking to hire a new site inspector for a fast growing Long Island Solar Company.
You will be going to job sites in a company vehicle to measure the exact dimensions of residential roofs and the locations of all vents, skylights, chimneys and other roof obstructions. You will need to measure and take photos of of many parts of the home including the electrical panel and the attic.
- Paid training will take place to explain what to look for and what photos are needed.
You will need to be able to lift a ladder by your self and safely set it up at the home. A training and evaluation with a ladder will be had at our office prior to you being permitted to go out on your own.
Any construction experience will certainly help but is not required.
Once back at the office you will then submit the site evaluation and upload the needed info into a company portal.
- You must know how to use a measuring tape
- You must be good with ladders and heights
- You must have a valid drivers license
- You must be well spoken and able to talk to homeowners in a professional manor.
Other duties will include;
- Delivering materials to job sites when needed
- Picking up materials form distributors when needed
- Organizing the warehouse when needed
- Taking in deliveries to the warehouse when needed
This is a full time job and hours will occasionally vary depending on project locations and homeowner availability.
