6 Weeks vacation after 1-year of employment Immediate openings for Automotive Technicians Our Technician expertly diagnoses customer vehicle problems, accurately prescribes correct repair action(s), and promptly delivers the required service. The ideal Technician has a high school diploma/GED (advanced education, a plus); is skilled and/or certified in at least two areas/specialties; has 3 years of vehicle repair experience, an unrestricted driver's license, and has a strong technical performance record, and must be a State Inspector (Safety & Emissions). The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position: *Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing *Deliver repair services and/or maintenance procedures in a prompt and high‐quality fashion *Maintain leading‐edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials *Continuously develop an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact *Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components *Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics Arena *Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities *Use center equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc. with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures *Lead or train other, less qualified, technicians in maintenance/repair activity when required Meineke Car Care Center (store #2160) 1458 Chestnut St Emmaus, PA 18049 610-928-1166
