Work for a great farm with truly happy chickens. We are seeking a great person to join our team of egg washers. No previous experience necessary. The job entails washing, sorting and packing eggs - you will learn how to operate our egg wash machine, prep, label and box eggs for retail sale. It’s a straight forward job that requires the ability to handle and see multiple details and to be on your feet during the entire shift, moving fairly quickly while sorting eggs. The shift ends with cleaning and disinfecting the equipment. Our goal is to put out a great product as efficiently as possible - we value innovation, communication and team collaboration. Must be able to lift 30 pound boxes and carry short distances. This is a great job for those who want part time work during the day. The shifts are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We start at 9:30 and go until the eggs are finished being packed - usually 5-7 hours. Monday is the longer day usually finished by 4:30. Knowledge of egg washing or farming is a bonus, but not necessary, you will receive on the job training. Potential farm work or delivery’s available for the right candidates. Our egg wash station is located offsite, 5 miles from the farm, in Longmont.
