We are a full-service fire protection company, providing design, installation, service and inspection of fire safety systems. About the Role Crisp-LaDew Fire Protection is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fire Sprinkler/Alarm Inspector. The inspector shall have the ability to perform inspections on water-based fire sprinkler systems. Inspector will be responsible for identifying deficiencies and troubleshooting existing conditions with the ability to write detailed reports regarding inspection deficiencies. Job Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, testing, services, and perform preventative maintenance on water-based fire sprinkler systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and fire codes Complete service documentation detailing findings as needed Communicate with Service Supervisor and/or Inspections Coordinator on inspection delays, requirements and general status of job to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope Willing to learn and use Firebreak software for inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Required Education and Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in fire protection\life safety industry Texas RME-I license High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience Working knowledge of sprinkler valves, alarm panels, devices, and critical components of fire protection systems Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing and installation State of Texas BPAT License (preferred) State of Texas FAL Licensed (preferred) State of Texas FEL Licensed (preferred) OSHA 30 (preferred) Benefits: • $15,000 Employer paid life insurance • Medical coverage (100% employee premium paid by employer) • Dental and vision coverage • Vacation • Paid holidays COVID-19 Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment provided or required Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
