Looking for Assistance with Synthetic Wigs for Current Chemo Patient

I work for a senior male that is currently going through Chemotherapy; his hair loss has been significant so he recently purchased a synthetic wig. His issue with the wig is that it does not have the highlights in it that it appeared to have when purchased so he is looking to find someone that can add highlights to the wig. He does not want the entire wig dyed only highlights added. The wig is is a more uniformed middle of the road gray & does not look anywhere near as natural as expected. Of course creating a synthetic wig that looks completely natural is not an easy feat unless to want to pour lots and lots of money into it but if there is someone that is able to add 1 or more lighter color gray highlights to his wig it would incredibly helpful. Of course he would cover the cost of the supplies & pay for the service but he wants to find someone that can do this correctly rather than someone who opens a drugstore hair coloring kit for the first time. I have dyed my friends hair & even my own but I do not have experience in adding gray highlight or adding color to synthetic wigs/ hair. Also he has looked to see if he can find a completely different wig that if more of what he wants but the style & base color of the wig he currently has is the closest thing he has found to what he wants.
