Open Mic Seeking Performers! --EVERY TUESDAY

Attention performers! The Speakeasy, located at 3rd and Main in Downtown Longmont, is looking for performers of all kinds. Musicians, singers, comedians, poets, rappers, dancers... if you can do it on-stage, come do it on ours! It's a stylish setting with a classic vibe, and we have a baby grand piano for performers who want to pull up the bench and tickle the ivories. It happens every Tuesday, sign-up is at 7PM, first act starts at 8PM. We regularly get video of our performers and put it on the Speakeasy Open Mic Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/locospeakeasyopenmic), and I'd like to get more content to cultivate a community of performers who know each other, collaborate, and promote together. Ideally, we'll eventually have a FB live stream, and the ability to record demos through the soundboard to provide artists with material to promote themselves. It's all in the works, so come in soon to get in on the ground floor. (Full disclosure, The Speakeasy is actually *below* ground, but you get the idea.) Answers to FAQs: -- To anyone who would like to use pre-recorded tracks, our soundboard connects through an aux cable that plugs into a headphone jack. (Sorry, iPhone users. You gotta bring your friend who has an Android, and we'll use their phone to pull up your Soundcloud.) -- Typically, we've got two mics and two 1/4" instrument cables onstage for input. If you need more, send a message through the Facebook page and we'll see what we can do. --The open mic goes from 8PM-Midnight every Tuesday, and the slots are around 15-20 minutes a piece. --Advanced sign-up isn't available.
