If you cannot meet ALL of the requirements including the proper identification documentation, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WORK ON THIS JOB SITE.**) Job Summary Job Type / Position: Temporary Labor (3-5 days as needed*) Help Set up a new Independent Dollar Store, Temporary Labor - FCFS Location: Dollar & More (located in Oak Forest Shopping Center) 512 S Bartlett Rd, Streamwood, IL 60107 Opportunity for temporary work assisting in the set up of fixtures and merchandise for a new independently owned Dollar Store. Primary job duties will be unloading boxes/pallets from trucks, unboxing & setting up store fixtures (gondolas, shelving, slat wall, etc.) and merchandising, following the direction of an on site supervisor. This is a temporary job opportunity that will be approximately 3-5 days, based on the needs of the on site supervisor. The hours are 8:00 AM till 4/4:30 PM, as needed for the 3-5 days. The position will pay by check at the end of the work week and will be available for pick up on site (on or before Friday of that week pending there are no issues with FedEx Express transit due to weather or other unforeseeable circumstances: Example: FedEx truck breaks down, flooded streets, etc.). Requirements: - Must complete the DocuSign application, including a 1 page Temporary Employee Application, current W-4 Form, and current I-9 Form.(**call me to get this - I will need a NAME, PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL ADDRESS to send this to you**) - Must bring valid photo ID (valid State Driver's License, State ID or US Passport) - Must bring official Social Security Card - print out receipts for new card orders from SS Admin NOT ACCEPTABLE, birth certificates NOT ACCEPTABLE. MUST HAVE SS CARD OR PHOTO COPY OF SS CARD, NO EXCEPTIONS. - Must be available all times and days as indicated - Must be on time as scheduled - Must be able to lift up to 100+ pounds - Must be 18 or older to apply and work on the site. (**If you cannot meet ALL of the requirements, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WORK ON THIS JOB SITE.**) Preferred: - Experience in receiving and merchandising retail stores (preferred but not necessary) - Flexible schedule and good attitude Dress Code: - Close-toed shoes - examples: sneakers / tennis shoes / boots / etc. - No vulgar or revealing clothing - Seasonally appropriate - examples: for cooler weather: wear a jacket, gloves and warm clothing - Suggested wear: jeans and tee shirt with close-toed shoes - Gloves are recommended, NOT required and NOT provided on site RECOMMENDED: wear gloves and bring your lunch (neither provided on site).
