Cat needing new home - rescue project

I have a cat named Lelo looking for her forever home. She is a little over a year old, medium length fur, up to date on shots till october, is not fixed but is litter box trained. I mentioned that she is a rescue project in the title so those that are interested in her are aware that she is still adjusting to being in a house and will need some extra TLC to help with socializing. Outside of that, she is an extremely playful, chirpy fun kitty. Because she was a stray when I found her, shes a little more hesitant of loud noises, being picked up or being around strangers but don't let that fool you when she wants to come curl up by you when you watch TV in the evening. She's an independent kitty but loves to be in the same room with you while you go about your day. She has lived in a house hold with other cats but has not been around children or dogs. I think she would do best either alone, or with one other laid back kitty. I know once she adjust to her new home she will be such a wonderful cat, she just needs that little extra push to have that side of her shine. I'm hoping to find her forever home as soon as I can so if you are interested, please shoot me a message about your living situation and why you think you would be a good match.
