Description
I'm looking to re-home my female Boa named Persephone to an experienced home that is better suited to her needs. She is around 6 yrs old and just over 7ft long.
Her last owner saved her from a small rescue that had burned down, so she has some smoke damage to her lung. It's nothing that hinders her everyday life, it just means that she needs her care to be very good with proper heating and humidity, and every once and a while you can hear her breathing become a bit heavier than normal.
I use to handle her all the time, and she's always been a perfect lady, but in this last year I've rarely had the opportunity to interact with her outside of feeding, so she'll need her new parents to use a snake hook or something similar to remover her from her enclosure for the first month or so until she starts to separate feeding from handling again. She is by NO MEANS aggressive at all, she just has a really strong feeding response like most boas do.
The enclosure she's currently in is 6ft long x 2ft wide x 18in tall and she's eating 1 small rabbit or one 4xl Guinea pig every 3 to 4 weeks just depending on how large the meal is. She is completely mite free, and given the proper humidity sheds perfectly.
Fee is $200, but might consider lowering.
