Venture Construction, a U.S. leader in waterproofing, coatings and surface preparation on roads and bridges, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring jobs have proper materials and equipment; the receipt, distribution, organization, and cost tracking of all material in and out of the garage; and maintaining an organized and clean warehouse and truck fleet. Responsibilities: - Perform and direct duties of loading and unloading trucks and trailers. - Work with project management to ensure that project materials are gathered and loaded into trucks for shipment accurately and timely. - Inspect condition of tools, equipment, and vehicles going to and coming back from job sites. - Request timely replacement of low inventory items. - Direct and manage warehouse assistant. - Offload, organize, label, and make digital record of all materials received. - Assist Operations Manager with Inventory Control. - Work with Director of Operations to implement and manage an inventory control program. - Provide monthly inventory and cost reports to the Director of Operations. - Keep a clean and organized warehouse. Requirements: - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to adjust to changing schedules; flexibility - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Three to five years' experience in commercial inventory managment - Two years' experience operating forklifts - Strong computer skills - 30 Hour OSHA course, or willing to get Come enjoy a great working environment where you are more than just a number.
