Shuttle Van Driver. StarForce National Corporation is a Department of Defense authorized passenger transportation company. Our primary mission is the safe and efficient transportation of young men and women who are entering military service. Our customers are the Recruiting Commands of the military. We are seeking drivers to work with an established team. Job Duties : This is a permanent part time position. Driver will work scheduled Service Sectors per week and must be flexible, when needed. Duties include driving a shuttle van between Normal, Il and St Louis, MO, with scheduled stops. Estimated two(2) to four(4) days per week(Sun - Wed), transporting military recruits. Military could request runs on Thurs/Fri. Driver will operate a 14 passenger van. Driver will maintain daily and cyclic paperwork supplied by the company. Further instructions will be provided during the training period. Training : Two (2) days of training at $75 per day, payable after thirty (30) days of continued employment. Wages : Estimated $122.40 per day. Drivers are paid by the Service Sector, and are paid twice a month via direct deposit as W2 employees. StarForce pays the Prevailing Wage, or higher. Job Requirements : The job requires a high school diploma/GED. Driver must possess a valid Regular drivers license. Must be 26 years of age or older. Must have a clean driving record verified by a current MVR report. Must have a current DOT physical, or be able to pass the DOT physical; and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Having vehicle mechanical experience is beneficial, possessing a compatible manner with responsible young people is important, and being committed to a dependable, on-time work ethic, is required. **Special consideration will be given to Veterans but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply and will be given full opportunity.
