Go Get Fred of Chicago is seeking to hire a full time pool maintenance technician to join our team as we expand throughout the Chicagoland area. This position is open to any individual interested in professional development within the aquatics industry. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary. We are open to training somebody who is willing to learn, follow directions, and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements Working a minimum for 4 days in the range of 10 to 12 hours daily depending on workload and scheduled tasks Willing to work additional days when required to do so depending on workload for that week Ability to arrive on site at 5:00am during the weekdays Physically able to lift 50lbs Comfortable working with chemicals Basic mathematics Job Description Accurately testing and logging water quality tests to ensure a safe swimming environment Measuring and adding chemicals in specified quantities to rebalance water when necessary Filling chemical tanks and keeping inventory of chemicals Maintaining a clean pool environment using a underwater vacuum, brushing, and abrasive pads Disposing of trash and keeping equipment rooms clean Repairing minor leaks and performing minor maintenance repairs within the chemical feeder system Communicating with team members and management staff to ensure a high quality of care and customer service Compensation & Perks $18 starting hourly pay with wage increase dependent on performance Paid time off Retirement Account Health insurance Company vehicle **Please respond with work history and or resume, serious inquiries only**
