Description
Birch is a 4 month old male Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix that is partially deaf. I rescue independently and took Birch and his two siblings in back in May. His siblings have since been adopted, and now itβs this boyβs turn! He has received 3 DAPPv vaccines, his Rabies vaccine and is current on heartworm/flea prevention. He is also dewormed. I will schedule a neuter through my vet in about two months at no cost to you! You just have to get him there.
Birch is extremely codependent on my older deaf/blind foster pup and will need another dog to shadow. He is shy and sensitive, so can be cautious of new people. He calls off of anything he is doing thatβs not appropriate very easily with a finger wave and even does well off leash staying by my feet at all times.
My other foster prefers to be outdoors and because Birch is attached to her hip he also prefers the yard over being inside. Because of this he isnβt potty trained or kennel trained. Heβs eager to please and very intelligent, so he should be easy to train with hand signals or an ultrasonic whistle as he does hear some tones. Serious inquiries only please, double merle experience preferred!
