Buddy is a 6 year old Maltipoo who is very sweet and affectionate. Since I am traveling out of the country from late September through late October, Buddy needs a foster home for a month. If you both bond, then after my trip we could discuss permanent ownership, as I anticipate being away from home quite a bit. Buddy can be a lapdog if you want, although I've trained him to not jump on the couch. He also can be your hiking buddy. As long as he's with a person, he's happy. He will be happiest with someone who is home most of the time. He is easy going with dogs under 25 pounds. He is initially nervous around larger dogs but warms up when given snacks. He likes to chase cats but isn't aggressive around them. He enjoys belly rubs, playing with toys and playing fetch. He doesn't require a lot of activity but he is capable of long hikes. He is house trained and knows a few tricks. He is not crate trained. If you are stay-at-home or a remote worker or retired, then Buddy could be a really fun dog for you.
