Seeking Independent Contract Couriers (1099) for Medical Deliveries across the State of NC, SC and Va. The position requires individuals that have the following capabilities: Patience Ability to lift 30 lbs Able to drive long distances and local routes when needed. Must live within 30 mins of RDU Airport Can follow directions Have client paperwork filled out correctly and returned the next day to client. Position Requires: Fuel Efficient Vehicle, ONLY small cars are needed. Internet Access and Email A Smartphone A separate in Car GPS Unit. NOT THE SMARTPHONE. A Small foldable Hand Truck, about $36.00 1million/2million Liability Coverage, $25 per month Car Insurance, 50/100k limits,not the basic NC 30/60k The right person will need: A Clean Driving Record A Clean Criminal Background To pass an Online Training Course, about 2 hours with Certification Paper. To pass a Drug Test. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday starting at 9:15am-3pm. Monday and Friday 1-5pm. You will be assigned deliveries during that time frame. It does not mean you are finished at 3pm or 5pm Pay: This is a 1099 Contractor Position. Pay varies per route/Client. It is based on mileages driven using google maps. Also includes wait time, and a small per diem pay to cover the cost of phone use, tolls, insurance. Pay is weekly after your first week worked. You will be Trained on how to use a Mobile App to scan barcodes, collect signatures, and track deliveries. You must have a useable device (Smartphone/Tablet) that can be used to collect signatures. THIS IS MEDICAL DELIVERIES. It is important and requires dedication. You are only acting in the role of a Courier. No Medical training, no equipment setup, no medical advice, no unpacking boxes.
