Human Rights Road-Trippers Wanted!

Description

We are looking for fun-loving weekend warriors of all backgrounds! Come see the countryside with us. Join us this fall on overnight weekend trips to college towns within a few hours' drive from Kansas City to do human rights work at college football games. Friends sometimes host us in their homes or we find beautiful campsites. Most camping gear is provided. Anybody would love it, especially international students and visitors! We go to college football games in Kansas and neighboring states. We stay outside the stadiums and usually eat and hang out during the games, a lot like tailgating. In Summer 2021 we upgraded to the white 2003 Chevy Astro Van seen in the photos. All (vegan) food and fuel is provided by donations to our registered 501c3 charity. Pack light. All you need is your smartphone, appropriate clothing for the weather, water bottle, sunglasses, wide-brimmed hat, sleeping bag, toothbrush, small towel, etc. There is no smoking in the van. Volunteer road-trippers are asked to participate in the peaceful and upbeat human rights demonstrations which we try to give the vibe of a party. We make time for exploring, sightseeing, and more fun afterwards. We have several roles that volunteers can fill: still photographer, videographer, live videographer, leafletters, cook, sign holder, music DJ, supporters' contact info collector, road navigator, campsite researcher, parking researcher, volunteer coordinator, etc. Or you can just help in general. We are a legitimate 501c3 secular charity, registered in Kansas and based in Lawrence. We follow all laws and obey police. We go where we can find the next generation of parents: college football games, festivals, concerts, college campuses, etc. We have a website, but we are not allowed to post it here unfortunately.
