Installation Job Post: We are a startup company looking for Installers to join our Roofing Protection Team in Orlando, FL! Job Description: Gonano is the 1st roofing protection company in the U.S using nanotechnology to treat/spray asphalt shingle roofs adding 10-15 years to their lives. Our product installation takes 45 mins to 2 hours depending on the pitch of the roofs. Installers can complete 5 jobs per day on average. Our Installers are responsible for installing/spraying our roofing solution by organizing, performing safety & equipment checks, and using our company spray equipment to treat the asphalt roofs at the homes of our clients. Responsibilities: - Follow required safety processes and procedures - Confirm proper product inventory has been pulled for installations - Execute proper roof assessments and installation of our nanotechnology (Spray) - Identify any potential hazards on the job site - Interpret the product installation plans and pour only the amount of product needed for an install. - Install, Inspect, sealing, and light roof repair to prepare for product - Complete other install related duties as assigned - Zoom call with the Owner weekly What you need to be successful: - Work vehicle (Truck or Van is Mandatory) - We have a trailer you can pull or we can put all equipment into your van if you have one. - Huge plus having your own Trailer or Van - Equipment, Gas, Company Shirts Provided - Valid driver’s license - High School Diploma or equivalent - Ability to work in inclement weather conditions (heat and cold) - Ability to climb work on rooftops (flat, angled, and sloped) - Ability to lift 50+ lbs - Experience using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments - Experience in roofing, electrical, and/or general construction, preferred but not mandatory - Experience using ladders properly is a plus - All installers will have the opportunity to make sales commissions by upselling other products on the job. Installation Procedure: - Is the roof walkable or dangerous? (If complex, more time needed, charge accordingly) - Perform safety & equipment check - Pour product into the tank (4x4 liter box - 16 liters) (Only pour what’s needed) - Find the best place to climb the roof (Ladder Safety) - Check the roof for vents, gutters, and everywhere you could fall - Tune-Up Roof Replace boot covers Use a leaf blower to clear roof and gutters Caulk or flex seal anything necessary, vents etc… Check flashing and leak areas - Cover 1 foot around the perimeter of the roof - Spray the rest of the roof in a zigzag motion - Use manual pump for sheds & small spaces This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: - Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous - People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects - Adaptable/flexible -- enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction - Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture - Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail - Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction - High-stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment *We are a Drug-Free Workplace* *Drug-Test and Background Check completed as a condition of employment Roof Protection, LLC is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
