We are currently a 5 piece band and will be starting to try out a male lead singer now for late fall 2021 into 2022! We also have a female lead singer you will be sharing the stage with. No attitude, diva or wanting to control the band... We are not looking for someone who will change the genre or only want to do a style we are not in favor with. This is a pro band with pro musicians and gear, making very good money, so we want to put on a pro show.... We are a dance / pop band ( not allot of rock or country ), looking for a compliment sound of a 5 piece to expand into 6. The whole band is set up that way, to compliment each other, no major instrument over plays or over powers anyone. We all work together very well. We have gigs in the book as well. Around 40 a year..... ( including weddings ) Looking for someone dedicated to this project, who can sing, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, KC and the Sunshine Band and Stevie Wonder and help backup the female singer. We are looking for someone who is also not afraid to travel up to 2-3 hours from Albany. Do you experience and can you sing? Most be familiar with Kamelot, dedicated, and have transportation. We rehearse in Waterbury. Our band Karma was formed approximately 2 years ago, and we have a good amount of songs down.I am looking for a drummer and a bassist specifically--but could definitely work around that. Some bands I like include King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Stooges, Radiohead, Nick Cave, The Cure, Weezer, and many many more I can't even think to list. I'm very flexible with what we can incorporate with the music. I'm an okay vocalist and guitarist and I have some knowledge of composition--not a theory wonk though.
