Job Title: Technicians Helper > Technicians Assistant/Apprentice > Technician. Summary: HALEFORCE PUMPS specializes in the service, installation and repair of residential water pumps. We also service and inspect residential water systems in various manners. The person needed to fill this position will be: - arriving to headquarters Monday through Friday before 8:30am (lateness can not be excused) - working at minimum until 12:30pm, but potentially up to full day lengths - willing and able to work in direct sun and in all weather conditions - willing and able to consistently lift 50+ pounds - willing and able to operate tools, equipment, machinery and appliances as required by each job - willing and able to work in and around water, dirt, sewage, and sewage systems Requirements: Presentable appearance and Customer Service oriented attitude Patient and honorable nature Willingness to listen, learn, and perform duties as assigned based on individual jobs needs Time management focused Personal standards for presenting quality work (we do not cut corners and doing so is grounds for immediate dismissal) Own a reliable and presentable vehicle for driving to jobs Sign a 1 year industry specific, local, non-compete agreement Sign a personal injury liability waiver Sign a business, client, and personal confidentiality agreement Complete I-9 form for tax reporting Submit to a Background and Criminal History Check Preffered Canidates may also possess: 4 Wheel drive truck with ability to pull trailers Personal collection of tools Plumbing experience Electrical experience First interviews will consist of a phone screening. Second interviews will be a face to face meeting. Canidates who advance to a third interview will perform a one-day, flat rate-paid, working-audition where focus, strength, understanding, attitude, and ability to grow with our company will be evaluated. From there, the chosen canidate would be hired on as a temporary, cash-paid helper. After determining that the canidate is a good match, a 1099 ongoing work offer may be extended. There is opportunity for rapid advancement to technicians apprentice and then to technician for the right driven and committed person.
