This is a special event not to be missed. Join us in person for a guided walk of the outdoor labyrinth at The Botanic Garden. The Autumnal Equinox can be a time to pause and reflect on the concepts of balance and transition in our own lives. Join us as we explore these ideas and participate in a walk on The Botanic Garden’s outdoor labyrinth. No prior labyrinth experience is necessary. *Due to the nature of this event and the physical space limitations of the labyrinth, registration will be limited to 25 participants. About Marilyn Zimmerman Marilyn is a retired attorney with a longtime interest in labyrinths. In 2019 she trained with Lauren Artress at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco to become a labyrinth facilitator. Marilyn sees labyrinths as psycho-spiritual tools that can be helpful for meditating, healing, praying, and understanding ourselves more deeply. She loves sharing the history, benefits, and labyrinth experience with others. Located in the heart of Traverse City – on the beautiful grounds of Historic Barns Park – The Botanic Garden will be a year-round sanctuary of environmental preservation, recreation and education. Its 25 acres will nurture the soul, enliven our history and promote Michigan’s natural beauty. With an emphasis on plant species native to northwest Michigan, it will create and enhance habitats for various forms of wildlife.
