We are looking for dependable, hardworking delivery staff to deliver wine and spirits locally and within the tri-state area. Other responsibilities will include assisting with vehicle maintenance, and general store support. Applicants must be over 21 and provide references. Additionally, applicants must be able to lift heavy boxes and speak basic conversational English. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with a mid-sized refrigerated van, and an electric bicycle. ***We require all staff to be vaccinated for COVID. Please do not apply unless you are or are willing to be vaccinated.*** About us:  We are a retail shop in the East Village of New York City that believes the process of buying wine should be easy and enjoyable. We build strong relationships with clients because we enjoy engaging with them: we create and seek out shared experiences. Additionally, we provide our clients excellent customers services, access to allocated wines and vast expertise. Weekly activities will include: * Delivering wine and spirits locally and in the tri-state area. * Pack and unpack boxes. * Keep delivery vehicle and retail space tidy and clean. We are looking for people with the following: * Able to lift heavy boxes up and down stairs * Dependable and hard working * Over 21 years old. * Can provide references. * A valid driver’s license * A clean driving record * Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods * A polite and professional disposition * Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) Compensation * Competitive hourly wages * Tips * Employee discounts
