Beer-centric tour of Tate House Museum followed by beer tasting and lecture by Ben Lisle at Mast Landing Brewing in Westbrook
The Tate House Museum presents it's annual beer event, ColoniAle, in collaboration with Mast Landing Brewing Company on September 25th. The event starts at 3PM with a multi-room beer-centric tour of the Museum presented by our docent experts. This is followed by a 16 ounce pour of beer at Mast Landing Brewery Company in Westbrook, at 4:30PM and a talk by Ben Lisle, the beer editor of the Press Herald, Ben Lisle is also an assistant professor of American Studies at Colby College. He lives among the breweries in Portland’s East Bayside, where he writes about cultural history, urban geography and craft beer culture.

The Tate House Museum is the 18th Century Georgian Colonial home of the British Mast Agent, George Tate. Built in 1755 and owned by the National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of Maine, the Tate House Museum is a National Historic Landmark located in the Stroudwater Historic District.
