The Soprano's are back! And so are Pairings Portland's wine, food and character pairing events!! 22 years since we got our first glimpse of a mobster in a psychiatrist’s waiting room, and 14 since a fateful night in Holsten’s diner, we’re going back to Jersey. “The Many Saints of Newark” prequel comes out October 1st, and Pairings is teaming up with Fan Fare Theme Catering to pay tribute to one of the greatest shows of all time. Is there a better way to celebrate than with a 10-course Italian feast paired with 5 expertly chosen wines to match? Fuggedaboutit. Your warm and convivial hosts (Anne Tegtmeier of FanFare Theme Catering, Jeff Weissler and Morgan Rice of Pairings Portland) are transforming the wine shop into Satriale’s for a meal experience you can’t refuse. We could tell you what we’re serving, but then we’d have to whack you. Although, we will tell you that there's trivia and prizes. Tickets are $75 until September 1, then $85. Pairings Portland is a wine shop located on the corner of NE 24th & Glisan across the street from 'The Ocean' (Uno Mas, 24th & Meatballs, Basa Basa, Slowburger, The Pie Spot, and Tails & Trotters).
