Seeking a Color Matching/Sales Representative in South Florida, FL.  EOE M/F/D/V Job Description: To provide prompt, professional service to customers meeting customers’ requirements through the utilization of color matching equipment, reference material and procedures. Also responsible for providing customers with technical advice on products, mixing ratios and application techniques. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position. Knowledge of color mixing software. Strong ability to mix and match colors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to speak Spanish and English fluently. Primary Responsibilities: Provide highest standard of courteous service to each customer. Promptly process customers’ orders for automotive paint using color matching equipment and expertise. Provide technical advice to customers on refinishing and ancillary products, mixing ratios, preparation and application techniques as necessary. Liaise with customers to confirm that they are obtaining suitable refinishing results. Where unable to resolve, promptly refer matter to Supervisor and/or Account Manager for follow-up. Work closely with both the Store Supervisor and Account Manager on paint orders for delivery. Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of all automotive refinishing products and application techniques. To provide assistance to customers in locating items and provide consultative advice on items (i.e. benefits of product, alternatives, use and application etc.). Solicit sales of paint ancillary products by “suggestive”, “related item” or “substitute” selling techniques as appropriate. Responsible for identifying and notifying Supervisor of items that customers requested and were not in stock. Responsible for all funds received during shift and for the completion of POS reports and preparations of bank deposits as required. Carry out sales transactions in a prompt and accurate manner, in accordance with approved cash handling procedures. Responsible for ensuring that paint room area, work top, floor, walls, mixing computers and mixing bank are neat and clean at all times as well as assist with cleanliness and merchandising of store. Responsible for ensuring that paint room inventory is stocked at all times which includes: taking inventory, identifying missing stock, and placing replenishment orders. To ensure that ground stock levels are kept to a minimum as identified by Store Supervisor. May also be required to assist with the overall stock taking of the store. Responsible for performing duties in a safe manner. Perform other tasks as assigned by Store Supervisor.
