We met in the lobby of my building, you were lost looking for an apartment on the first floor and you asked me if the first floor was the next level up and I confirmed. I asked you if you made good wages delivering food to spark conversation, we looked at each other and smiled for a tense moment (felt like a long moment), which was interrupted when a woman joined us in the elevator as the doors were about to close.
You were wearing a Red John Dewy Home of the Dragons Shirt and tied your bike at the front of my building. I came out shortly after our encounter in hopes of running into you while I grabbed my mail, but by the time I came out, you had just mounted your bike and taken off, you still turned around and saw me but was far enough and refocused on the street.
If you’re reading this, (I really hope that you do) I’d like to hang out, have a drink or go out to eat and see where this can go. Crossing my fingers.
