Young Land Professionals meet up to hike, learn about cranberry bog restoration, and network with other YLPs.
Join us for an afternoon with Mass Audubon Staff while we hike the recently restored Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary. We will learn how this former cranberry bog underwent the largest freshwater ecological restoration in the Northeast while exploring the cold water streams, ponds, forests and wetlands that now populate the sanctuary. After the hike we will head to the nearby Rye Tavern for a social hour at their outdoor bar and patio.
Schedule:3:00-4:00 pm: River Restoration Hike (meet here)
4:00-5:00 pm: Social hour at Rye Tavern
