Mary Seek, owner/operator of Seek Lavender, will share lavender & herb growing, care, and uses as you walk/tour this small family farm. Seek Lavender grows, in addition to lavender, 27 different herbs/plants to complement Lavender’s mission to bring magic; culinary, aesthetic, relaxation, aromatherapy, home-care, and self-care into our lives. Come experience conveniently located Seek Lavender Farm at the town limits of historical, charming Culpeper, Virginia. Seek Lavender will share (prepared in advance for you to taste) with you sweet & savory lavender (& other herbal) delights (chicken dish, beef dish, dressings (creamy & vinaigrette), vegetable medley, cookies, dessert bars, and more). Mary Seek will also detail how easy it is to add lavender/herbal magic to every day cooking with lavender/herbal salts and lavender sugar/extract. You will take home a starter kit (recipe sampler, lavender buds, ground lavender, lavender extract, lavender sugar, shortbread mix, a variety of herbal salts; $40 retail value) to get you going! Lavender is tenderly nurtured, hand-harvested, and distilled with thanksgiving and awe by Neil and Mary Seek along with medicinal herbs that partner with lavender in providing stress, anxiety, and insomnia support products.
