Description
Welcome to the 2021 Workshop Series Tabletop Exercise (TTX) In this 7-part series, participants have the opportunity to create, evaluate, and exercise their emergency preparedness response plans. Part 3 of this Series will be to complete a TTX that is intended to help you identify, discuss and plan for the continuity of your information systems or IT infrastructures (i.e: EHRs, etc). Those interested in participating in the TTX need to have completed all of the required sessions prior to their TTX date. See below: Part 1: Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) Part 2: TTX Planning Meeting Registration is only required for the TTX and you will only need to choose one of the 3 dates. Exercises cannot be conducted by a single individual for any facility. You will need to involve, at a minimum, an administrative leader, a clinical leader, and a facilities leader as your Exercise Team for the planning meetings and the Table Top Exercise. This year we are also recommending that you invite your IT person or team to the event. Each of these people must register individually. We recognize that some organizations may not have fully developed these continuity plans that should coexist with your Emergency Operations Plan. This Tabletop Exercise (TTX) should help you understand the differences, and give you the tools you need in order to continue to provide essential healthcare, services, and other activities. This series is built around the CMS EP requirements. However, any recommendations we provide are strictly just recommendations and you are under no obligation to comply with these regulations. We are not a regulatory agency, but are happy to provide assistance when we can. It is the responsibility of your Organization to ensure you are adequately prepared to respond to an emergency and have met all provisions of the licensing and certifying agencies.
