Support our work GOODProjects has teamed up with Good Stuff Eatery to raise money to support our mission. Head over to Good Stuff Eatery and grab yourself the Raspberry Truffle Shake. All proceeds from the sale of the Raspberry Truffle Shake shake will go to GOODProjects! Who We Are I Am Beautiful Because (IABB) is a nonprofit organization that supports women and girl who have been victims of child sexual abuse(CSA). Our mission is to educate, empower, and engage survivors through restorative trauma informed care practices and to bring awareness to the community about prevention and intervention. Our organization was founded in 2017 and since then we have served over 400 women and girls in DMV area. Our goal is to provide therapeutic relief to survivors and to further the research that perpetuates the necessity for this type of programming. GOODProjects is empowering youth and their families to live fulfilling lives free from poverty, while helping them develop the mindset to thrive in their own communities. Our mission is to eliminate the roadblocks to basic needs so families can define success for themselves on their pathway to achieving the American Dream. We co-create with our community to provide the support families need and deserve. Our work focuses on creating the place-based, sustainable model to turn poverty-dense communities into GOODZones where 100% of our families sustain incomes at or above $80k a year. We are working to achieve this vision, first in our home of Washington, D.C., and then expanding to communities nationwide.
