Meet Shasta! I would like to put my dog Shasta up for adoption as soon as possible. She is current with all vaccinations, healthy, house-broken and has been spade. She is about a year old, about 45 pounds, half Rottweiler / haft French-poodle (you wouldn't know the poodle is in there though). She stands a little under two feet tall at the shoulder and about 30 inches long or so, a good medium sized doggy. She is affectionate, mild temperament and sometimes a little timid or standoffish but that soon fades with some attention. She would make a great ranch dog or family pet both. Shasta is good around kids and elders. She loves the company of other dogs and has never had a fight, not aggressive. She is pretty good around cats and loves the outdoors and hasn't run-off. Pretty good trail dog, she loves taking hikes. She's got a ton of potential, highly trainable, she'll make someone a really good dog. Located in Penn Valley, Nevada County California, about 10 miles west of Grass Valley/Nevada City area. Current owner's name is John, can be reached at and can no longer care for her.
